Artist note from Kate:
"Roads 1 & 2" abstracts the dense network of human infrastructure into two minimalist compositions that mirror the geometric imprint of roads across the earth's surface. Using precise divisions of raw canvas, orange, and red, the rhythm and intrusion of movement is carved into the landscape. The interplay between painted form and unpainted ground reflects both connection and disruption - an aerial snapshot of how our constructed pathways intersect with the raw terrain they replace.
